BR Collaborates with 2016 Study Abroad Programs

Southwestern Law School has launched a 4-week long summer law study program in Yerevan, Armenia, for summer 2016.  For more details about the program calendar, course descriptions, application schedule and tuition information please contact Southwestern’s Office of International Programs directly at (213) 738-6874.  Birthright Armenia is excited to be collaborating with Southwestern in the following way:  qualifying participants of the Yerevan Summer Abroad Program who commit to 9 weeks of summer 2016 internship in Yerevan through Birthright Armenia can benefit from our Travel Assistance (50% of the agreed travel cost, per Birthright Armenia’s policies) and Homestay living (approximately $100/month).  Program participants from Southwestern and other schools can apply who are of Armenian heritage i.e. at least one grandparent must be fully Armenian.  Other criteria apply. Birthright Armenia is excited to collaborate with accepted students into AUA’s Study Abroad programs.

Accepted participants of the AUA study abroad program who commit to a 9-week long internship in 2016 through Birthright Armenia can benefit from our Travel Assistance (50% of the agreed travel cost, per Birthright Armenia’s policies) and Homestay living (approximately $100/month). 

Program participants must be:

·         of Armenian heritage (i.e. at least one grandparent must be fully Armenian),

·         20-32 years of age,

·         and have a high school diploma. 

Former citizens of Armenia are only eligible with official documentation that shows they left Armenia by the age of 12.  Other criteria may apply.
