Internships and Volunteering

Volunteering in Marketing for a Non-Profit
Why spend weeks on searches, inquiries, applications and fierce competition just to find a fulfilling internship opportunity? Birthright Armenia can set one up for you right here in Armenia! And what better way to enhance your internship experience than engaging with peers and colleagues in an emerging and developing country. "I feel that I matter here" is a common expression by many former interns and volunteers. Regardless of the sector you want to volunteer or intern in, make your efforts matter. Come volunteer or intern in Armenia!

Internship sites
Birthright Armenia maintains an extensive, current database of potential job placements for volunteers within Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor. These placements include positions in non-profit and international organizations, as well as in the private business sector and state institutions. We offer volunteer and internship positions in a wide variety of fields, a small sampling listed below to give you an idea of some possibilities. Actual job placements get filled on a first come first served basis and take into consideration a volunteer’s previous experience, qualifications/skillset, and of course the current needs of the job site at any given time.
Participants in Birthright Lite have access to the same volunteering and internship opportunities in Armenia as regular participants. Birthright Lite is designed for full-time working professionals of any age who possess valuable skills to share but have limited time away from their jobs. This program allows participants to engage for a shorter period of 4 to 9 weeks, with the option to return for a second and final participation of at least 9 weeks.
